at age 15, robin was enrolled in the pre-college summer program at the world renowned pratt institute. robin credits the experience as the catalyst in her pursuit of a fulfilling, multi-faceted career in the arts and entertainment industry.
upon presenting a strong art portfolio at pratt, it was confidentially shared that robin's artwork was quite "advanced" and that the challenge she anticipated might be short lived. robin expressed that she also had an avid interest in theatre, it was then decided that she be placed under the tutelage of faculty member and drama coach robert woods where she flourished.
later that fall, it was recommended that robin continue honing her acting skills by enrolling at New York City’s prestigious HB Studio. there she studied Acting Technique with THE RENOWNED EDWARD MOoREHOUSE.
today, robin is a multimedia producer and host, prominent motivational speaker, creative advisor and teaching artist. her ability to skillfully produce, direct and perform in several artistic genres within the entertainment industry for 3 decades has earned her the unwavering respect of both her peers and competitors.
musical tributes produced, directed, and choreographed include a tribute to motown revue, whitney houston, michael jackson, janet jackson, duke ellington and prince.
for 20 seasons, she executive produced and hosted the highly acclaimed arts and entertainment cable television show, "imagine that! with robin richie."
